BOTOX® Cosmetic is a protein that weakens muscles that wrinkle the skin. It is injected under the skin into areas surrounding the eyes and forehead to reduce "worry lines", "crow's feet" and "frown lines". Dr. Youn also uses Botox for turning up the corners of the mouth, elevating the eyebrows, and reducing the width of the jaw in selected patients. The procedure is quick and performed in an examination room. Dr. Youn often performs the procedure on Saturday mornings or Friday afternoons. This way you may look great by Monday. Collagen (Cosmoplast) ,Hylaform And Restylane

Model

These are temporary "filler products" used to add fullness to areas of the face such as the lips, cheeks and forehead. They are fast, effective ways to smooth facial lines and define the lip border. In addition, they can be used to fill in deep and shallow wrinkles that cannot be treated by Botox. The results are immediate but temporary. Hylaform and Restylane last longer than Cosmoplast, but are more expensive. Dr. Youn often performs these procedures on Saturday mornings and Friday afternoons. This way you may look great by Monday. He uses topical anesthetics as well as dental blocks (in selected patients) to numb the skin.

The Blue Peel (TCA Peel)

The OBAGI® Blue Peel can restore tighter, smoother and younger looking skin regardless of age, color or skin type. Using TCA (Trichloracetic Acid) instead of glycolic acid, the Obagi® Blue Peel enables the physician to control the peel process and its depth. These applications will lead to the removal of thin surface layers of aged and damaged skin. Layers of dead skin cells are exfoliated and replaced by healthier ones, allowing the skin's own clarity and tightness to resurface.

Anyone who wants to look better and reverse the appearance of the aging process should consider this process. Those who have blemish-prone skin, wrinkles, pigmentation problems, sun damage, or general poor skin quality will benefit the most. Patients can realize excellent results after just one Blue Peel. A six to eight week course of skin preconditioning on Obagi Nu-Derm should be completed prior to this peel.

Dr. Youn can perform the Blue Peel in the comfort and privacy of his office, using a light oral sedative and topical anesthetics to numb the skin. The downtime is approximately 4-7 days, and there is usually very little discomfort during the healing process.

Fat Grafting to the Lips

Fat grafting or transfer can be performed to the lips for a more permanent result. Although not all of the fat which is transferred to the lips will stay, usually the portion that remains is enough to produce a nice, long term result. Fat grafting to the lips can be performed with a light oral sedative and local anesthetics.

It consists of a patented combination of prescription-strength hydroquinone to clear blemishes and age spots, alpha-hydroxy acids to exfoliate the skin, and Retin-A to decrease wrinkles and tighten the skin. The Dermaglide system allows for a wide variety of treatment options, enabling us to address all skin types from the most sensitive, to thick, scarred skin. In addition to the traditional crystal method, we can also use the dynamic new Crystal-FreeTechnique to slough away the dead, dull outer layer of skin, leaving your skin smoother and refreshed. Crystal-free microdermabrasion can be more aggressive to treat concerns on a larger scale. It can also be used for patients with sensitivities to the crystals of traditional microdermabrasion. Microdermabrasion treatments are great for overall rejuvenation, treatment of fine lines and sun damage, and for optimal penetration of medical-grade skin care. Results are best achieved through a series of about six consecutive microdermabrasion treatments, ranging no more than 7 to 10 days apart, although treatments can be tailored to fit your particular schedule. Anti-Cellulite Treatments

The Dermasonic™ method is a two stage process.
