Chemical Peels

Our aestheticians perform the MicroPeel and Glycolic Peels for patients who want their skin to be softer and smoother without downtime. This is the classic “lunchtime peel” which consists of a mild acid that smoothes the skin, improves fine lines, and removes aged, damaged skin without discomfort or downtime. These peels are geared towards patients who do not exfoliate on a regular basis.

Jessner’s Peel

The Jessner’s Peel is an innovative, in-office treatment peel that targets melasma, acne, fine lines, rough texture, large pores and dullness. This highly effective peel is designed to provide skin renewal and stimulation. It has minimal downtime depending on how deep you’d like the peel to be. The Jessner’s Peel is suitable for most skin types.

Controlled Depth TCA Peel

The Controlled Depth Peel can restore tighter, smoother and younger looking skin regardless of age, color or skin type. Using TCA (Trichloroacetic Acid), the Controlled Depth Peel enables the physician or aesthetician to control the peel process and its depth. These applications will lead to the removal of thin surface layers of aged and damaged skin. Layers of dead skin cells are exfoliated and replaced by healthier ones, allowing the skin’s own clarity and tightness to resurface. Those who have blemish-prone skin, wrinkles, pigmentation problems, sun damage, or general poor skin quality will benefit the most. Patients can realize excellent results after just one Controlled Depth Peel. A six to eight week course of skin preconditioning on ZO Conditioning Skin Care System should be completed prior to this peel.

Dr. Youn and our aestheticians can perform the Controlled Depth Peel in the comfort and privacy of our office, using a light oral sedative and topical anesthetics to numb the skin. The downtime is approximately 4-7 days, and there is usually very little discomfort during the healing process.

Automated Micro Needling

Automated Micro-Needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy or CIT) is a new innovation in aesthetic medicine for treating the appearance of fine lines, acne scars and improvement of the skin’s overall appearance.

During this procedure, a micro-needling device is used by our aestheticians Monica and Paula to create controlled micro-injuries to the skin in order to naturally produce collagen and elastin. The skin’s repair process combines with the topical application of growth factors to result in improvement of the appearance of fine lines, mild acne scars, and overall aging.

Our micro-needling device is the most advanced medical-grade automated micro-needling device on the market, so we are proud to offer this state-of-the-art treatment to our patients!

Microdermabrasion

The Dermaglide Microdermabrasion system allows for a wide variety of treatment options, enabling us to address all skin types from the most sensitive, to thick, scarred skin. In addition to the traditional crystal method, we can also use the new Crystal-Free Technique to slough away the dead, dull outer layer of skin, leaving your skin smoother and refreshed. Results are best achieved through a series of about six consecutive microdermabrasion treatments, ranging no more than 7 to 10 days apart, although treatments can be tailored to fit your particular schedule. The Dermaglide Microdermabrasion system is environmentally friendly, as it utilizes baking soda crystals instead of the aluminum oxide crystals used with traditional machines.
