How to redefine your curves!

Your face may be the thing people notice the most about you, but you’ve got a whole lot of body left below the neckline! Many of my patients complain that they have just a little too much here, not enough there, and wonder why it’s all so much lower than it was a decade ago. But take heart! There’s a lot we can do to shape it and keep it looking young!

The Right Exercise- You already know: the number one thing you can do to keep your body looking younger is to exercise regularly. Working out reverses many signs of aging, and the best benefits happen when you do it regularly – three to five times a week for at least 30 minutes. My favorite workouts right now are HIIT workouts (for weight control) and Yoga (for overall balance and strength).

Intermittent Fasting – Also known as time-restricted eating, studies are showing that intermittent fasting is not only great for losing unwanted pounds, it also stimulates autophagy and cellular renewal! Simply limit your meals to an eight hour window each day (typically noon to 8 pm, but do whatever works for you) and when you eat make sure you don’t overeat. There are a lot of other intricacies to intermittent fasting, and my friend Cynthia Thurlow has a NEW book coming out Tuesday that covers it all!
