Buccal Fat Removal
in Thin Faces

I think I do more buccal fat removal operations than anyone else in the state of Michigan.

This is a minimally invasive operation where I remove a gumball-sized glob of fat from the inside of the cheek.  It’s a nice procedure to slim the cheek hollows (suck in your cheeks to see where it works) and doesn’t create any visible scars.

However, this surgery should be performed very selectively on people with either chubby faces or bottom-heavy faces.  If it’s performed on someone with an already thin face, it can make that person look gaunt and older.

I recently performed fat injections into a woman’s cheek hollows where a local plastic surgeon had removed her buccal fat pads.  He made an error in surgical judgment by performing that operation on her.

So for these reasons, Buccal Fat Removal in Skinny Faces is on my Holistic Beauty Blacklist.
