Evolence

New fillers are always hitting the market, always with a bunch of hype.

Some of these fillers (such as Restylane Defyne and Juvederm Voluma) are worth the hype and stick around for the long haul.

Others, like Evolence, don’t.  Evolence is a type of collagen filler that was designed to supplant the hyaluronic acid filler market.

I was invited to a training on Evolence from a plastic surgeon colleague of mine.  I asked him, “Why do I need to be trained in this?  I’ve treated thousands of patients with fillers.”

His reply, “Because if you don’t inject Evolence correctly it can be a disaster.”

That doesn’t sound like a filler I’d want to inject!

For this reason, Evolence is on my Holistic Beauty Blacklist.
