Anterior Hairline Browlift

I’ve never seen a scar from one of these that I’ve liked.

The anterior hairline browlift is an open browlift (as opposed to an endoscopic browlift) that creates a lengthy scar along the front of the hairline.  It’s often used in people with high foreheads, because it can shorten the forehead and even make the hairline look less receded.

That makes sense in theory, but reality is another story altogether.

The anterior hairline browlift scars can be quite visible and make the hairline look strange and operated-on.  You might even spot one on Sylvester Stallone.  I’m not his doctor, but it looks like he may have had this procedure done.

For these reasons, the Anterior Hairline Browlift is on my Holistic Beauty Blacklist.
