How to Thicken Your Hair NATURALLY!

I recently noticed that the hair on top of my head is starting to thin. Yes, I am like the one in five Americans suffering from hair loss or thinning hair! Men and women alike deal with this every day, but there are solutions that are holistic and don’t involve needles or surgery. Here are a number of suggestions for you to try:

1. Low-Light Laser Therapy – This is the easiest way to thicken hair. The energy from low-light laser therapy has been scientifically proven to be absorbed through the hair follicles, which increases cellular activity and causes thinning hair to get thicker. My personal favorite device is the iRestore Hair Growth System, which you can use in the comfort of your own home. It’s currently on sale at Amazon for $450 off! Check it out HERE.

2. Topical Rosemary Oil or Minoxidil – One study found the effects of topical rosemary oil to be equal to that of minoxidil (Rogaine) for thickening hair. And bonus: rosemary oil had less skin irritation than minoxidil. You want to blend the rosemary oil with a carrier oil like jojoba or coconut oil as it’s too strong to be applied directly to the scalp. Rinsing it out after is optional, but let it sit on the scalp for at least five to 10 minutes.

3. Nutritional supplements – Hair loss can be a sign of underlying nutritional deficiencies, especially in women. Iron and Vitamin D are two very common deficiencies that can result in thinning hair. I strongly recommend Nutrafol, the most up-to-date thinning hair supplement today. I’ve begun taking it every day. Check it out at my online store HERE.

4. Dermarolling – This technique has been proven in multiple studies to encourage hair growth, but it does appear to be most effective when combined with another treatment like Minoxidil. If you’d like to try dermarolling, make sure to discuss this with your dermatologist before starting. Once you’re given the go-ahead, make sure the dermaroller is cleaned with alcohol before and after the treatment, and use a dermaroller with needles between 0.5 millimeters and 1 millimeters in length. Start dermarolling the areas of thinning one to two times a week, being careful not to pull hair out during rolling.

I’ve begun some of the treatments above and will be sharing my experience AND results with you in the near future!
