Modern Medicine: Plastic Surgeons Among Most Likely Doctors To Get Sued

My trusty blog readers:

I am going to try something different for a while.  In addition to my blog posts, I’m going to be posting interesting articles from other sites as a way to satisfy your cravings for all things celebrity and plastic surgery.  If any of you have interesting blogs or news items for me to check out, please leave a comment.  I’m always looking for good content and the latest celebrity plastic surgery news.

The five least-sued specialties — for which the odds of being sued by age 65 are 75 percent — are dermatology, psychiatry, pediatrics, family medicine and a category referred to as “other specialties.”

Thank God, I’ve never been sued… yet.  I know it’s unfortunately a matter of time, no matter how hard I take care of my patients.  A sobering thought, I must admit, and one that enters my mind all the time.
