Lip Implants

Have you ever seen those celebrities with stiff, duck lips?

Some of them are suffering the effects of lip implants.

Lip implants can be made of many materials, but silicone and GoreTex are probably the most common.  What they all have in common is that they all look fake and goofy.

The lips are some of the softest tissues of our body.  We’ve never created a synthetic substance that feels as soft and natural as a real set of lips.  Fat injections feel soft and natural, but only a tiny percentage of fat that is injected into the lips actually stays long term.  Injectable fillers are getting softer and more natural (Vollure and Restylane Defyne and Silk) can feel ‘almost’ natural.

But solid lip implants just never look and feel right.  And they definitely DO NOT pass the Kiss Test.

To pass the Kiss Test, when someone kisses you on the lips it must feel like real lips.  Not like they are kissing a spare tire.

For these reasons, Lip Implants are on my Holistic Beauty Blacklist.
