Intermittent Fasting, Dangers of Fluoride, EMF, Blue Light, and more!

I recently returned from the annual Mindshare Summit, a gathering of 500 of the top holistic healthcare practitioners in the United States. This is where I’ve met such influential alternative health experts as Dr. Terry Wahls (internist who reversed her MS using the power of food), Dave Asprey (the founder of Bulletproof butter coffee) and Dr. Nita Landry (co-host of The Doctors).

Here are a few things I learned while at the meeting that I’d like to share with you:

1. Did you know fluoride in your water may contribute to adult acne? I met a prominent researcher who has made it her mission to educate the public on the dangers of fluoride in our water. Surprisingly, most commercial water filters, like Brita, don’t remove fluoride and other contaminants that can be found in both city and well water. So what do you do? I’ll share my inexpensive solution in the coming weeks.

2. Have you considered the potential health ramifications of the upcoming shift to 5G? EMF (Electromagnetic fields) have been shown to impact our health and sleep patterns, so what might the increased power of 5G EMF do to our bodies? I met an expert in EMF who accepted my offer to be interviewed on a future podcast. It’s scary stuff that everyone needs to know.

3. Have you tried blue light blocking glasses? If you’re like most of the population, you read your phone or iPad at night, even in bed. The blue light that radiates from the screen has been shown to affect sleep patterns. Good news, though! In the near future I’ll share with you the exact blue light-blocking glasses that I wear and recommend.

4. Can you reverse aging with intermittent fasting? Studies are showing that fasting may be an effective way to increase the number of stem cells in your body and actually reverse aging. Fascinating! And have you heard of the fasting-mimicking diet? I’m going to try it and let you know what I think.

There is so much exciting information in the holistic health realm. I’m excited to share these with you in the near future as I get it all organized!
