Simple way to lose pounds quickly AND look younger!

Happy New Year! This week I thought I’d give you a heads up about a simple and effective way to lose the pounds you may have gained over the holidays AND improve your skin and health. It’s called the Prolon Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD), and it’s a very effective way to lose 5 lbs or more over just five days! But before I introduce you to it, let’s start by explaining the science behind fasting and its anti-aging benefits.

Scientific studies have shown that fasting can de-age you by promoting autophagy. Autophagy is the process where damaged cell components are replaced with newly generated, functional ones from activated stem cells.

It’s like an old fashioned, wood-burning steam locomotive. When it runs out of wood to burn, the first thing that the engineer does to keep it running is to burn all the damaged wood products, like broken chairs and tables. Only after the damaged wood is gone does the engineer progress to burning the good wood.

Our damaged, even potentially cancerous, cells are like the damaged wood. These cells are consumed first during autophagy.

So how long do you have to fast to promote real autophagy? Unfortunately, longer than most of us are willing to endure.

Hence, the Prolon Fasting Mimicking Diet (FMD). This is a 100% plant-based, five day calorie-restricted diet composed of foods carefully chosen to trick your body into thinking that it’s fasting. It was created by Dr. Valter Longo, the Director of the Longevity Institute at the University of Southern California.

The FMD has been shown to increase stem cell production and autophagy, shift the body into fat burning mode, and reduce cholesterol and triglycerides. Your body acts like it’s fasting, but in reality you’re not.

I completed the FMD and lost seven pounds during the five day course. I know of others who have lost anywhere from 5-11 lbs during their first FMD course.

The Prolon Fasting Mimicking Diet is a simple but effective way to lose the pounds you may have gained over the holidays AND brighten your skin AND improve your health. If you’re interested in trying it, we have a limited number of these sets available for purchase at our office in Troy, Michigan OR you can purchase them at our online store by clicking HERE.
